Our Founder
Veronica Negron-Velez, originally from Puerto Rico, has been dedicated to the field of Special Education and Autism since 2002. Her inspiration to start Autism Tutoring Services & More stems largely from her personal journey as a mother to Savannah, her 14-year-old daughter who has autism. Savannah's influence, combined with Veronica’s deep passion for teaching students on the autism spectrum, served as the driving force behind the creation of her tutoring business.
Veronica’s motivation is rooted in her commitment to support individuals with autism and to make a lasting difference in their lives. She holds a master’s degree in education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis, with a focus on Autism and other developmental disorders.
Her lifelong dream has been to serve the autism community by creating a safe, supportive environment that offers tutoring in areas such as writing, reading, math, social skills, independent living skills, and behavior management. Veronica’s mission and vision center on providing specialized, individualized tutoring designed to help every child thrive and reach their full potential.
